about
The isolation theme in the song ties in with current times where we are often isolated at home. Though it was written before the global pandemic hit us, being at home so much triggers an even bigger temptation to sink deeper into ourselves, eclipsing the (real) world. We hope that, paradoxically, this song helps a bit in getting ‘free from yourself’.
lyrics
Make way, I'm coming in coming in
You're all gonna turn around and look at me, naturally
Make way, I'm coming in coming
Girls wish they were me and all the guys, wish they were with me
Funny how there's crowds full of worlds that are turning without me
Voices and faces playing musical chairs, they reveal what I can't see
Seven billion worlds without me
Lone Wolf sing to the moon,
Forget you're not the only one
Lone Wolf on top of the hill
No you don't need anyone
Hey spotlight, come light me up light up
Show them how I I'm funny and intelligent, naturally
Hey spotlight, don't move away move away
You and I know I'm the best, forget the rest
Funny how there's crowds full of worlds that are turning without me
Voices and faces playing musical chairs, they reveal what I can't see
Seven billion worlds without me
Lone Wolf sing to the moon,
Forget you're not the only one
Lone Wolf on top of the hill
No you don't need anyone
Lone Wolf sing to the moon,
Forget you're not the only one
Lone Wolf on top of the hill
No you don't need anyone
